Licensing of VBASE HMI / SCADA is always done over the runtime, which is the part of the software, which contains the finished project and runs on the target computer. The VBASE development environment is basically free of charge!
There are 6 different VBASE-RT runtime systems, which differ in function range, licensing and price. The software is licensed using a software key (soft key), a hardware dongle for the USB port (UKey) or as an embedded license. The embedded license is only available with a VISAM operator panel (VTP) or automation server (VGATE) and is bound to this device.
