With VBASE 11.7.7, VISAM GmbH is releasing another service release for the versatile automation platform.

This update includes a number of features that further improve the handling and performance of the software. To prevent tampering, the runtime systems are now signed by default. A new communication driver for the connection of Hitachi material analysers (LAB X5000) has also been added. Bugs have been removed. The update is free of charge for all existing VBASE customers!

The new version is available as a setup file and as an offline update for devices without internet access in our download area. Existing installations can be easily updated with the integrated VBASE update manager.

The future of VBASE is X64.

As already announced, the further development based on the current VBASE generation is considered complete and is now limited to service and security updates. The further development of VBASE with new features and functions is fully focussed on the next generation: ‘VBASE X64’.
